How does the car rental affiliate program work?

You refer traffic through your affiliate link on your website. Once that visitor completes a reservation and actually picks up the rental vehicle, you earn commission on that sale through E-Z Rent A Car.

How much commission will I earn?
|
|
New affiliate program members earn 5%-11% commission depending on volume, while travel agents (those with valid IATA, CLIA or TRUE # numbers) earn 12%.
|

3.
When and how will I get paid?
|
|
Commission reports are run every month and as long as your commission totals over $25 for that period, you will receive a check automatically. There is no need to request it. If you commission total is less than $25, the commission will roll over to the next month until you reach that minimum.

Can I use content, the E-Z Rent A Car name and the logo on my site?
|
|
Only use the approved links, buttons and banners that are provided to you on this page.

Do I Have to Pay to Join or Participate?

Membership and participation are absolutely free of charge.

How long does it take to start earnnig?
|

The affiliate approval process (after you complete the affiliate enrollment application) usually takes 2 business days, but can move more quickly than that. You can start earning commissions as soon as you begin referring customers and they rent cars from E-Z Rent A Car.

How will I know my earnings, activities and pending reservations?
|
|
We have created a custom affiliate tracking page that you will be able to log into to view your up to the minute car rental and reservation activity. You can also update your profile, get logos, links and more.

8.
What if my visitors do not book the first time they visit your site through my link?
|
|
When a visitor comes through your referral source, we set a cookie on their computer to last for 30 days. This means that if they come back and make a reservation within 30 days, no matter if they come through your link or not, you will still get credit for the reservation.

What is the approval process and are there any restrictions?
|
|
E-Z Rent A Car retains the full right to reject applicants at their own discretion. Further, E-Z Rent A Car does not accept pornographic websites or websites that promote illegal activity. We also do not allow Google AdWords, or other search engine paid advertising, on our brand name.

Do I get paid when people click on the link I provide?

E-Z Rent A Car pays commission only on succesfully completed rentals, not per click.
|

What is a successfully completed rental?
|
|
A successfully completed rental is one that is tied to a reservation made through your referral source. That reservation was picked up at one of the E-Z Rent A Car locations, returned and fully paid for.

12.
Can I earn commission on my own rentals?
|
|
Yes, as long as you book your reservation by first clicking on your banner to set your affiliate source, then, yes you do get credit for your own rentals.
|

13.
Why I am missing a reservation?
|
|
Customers have full control over their reservations and the pick up process. If a customer decides to cancel their reservation, it will no longer show in your pending reservation list. Additionally, it is common in the rental car industry for a reservation to be a no show - meaning that the customer never showed up to claim the confirmation. This would not qualify as a successfully completed reservation. Additionally, if you enrolled in the ShareASale Affiliate program, your transactions may not appear on this website. What is the group / convention program?
|
The convention / group program works in the same way to the affiliate program except the administrator of the group or convention can section off a portion of the commission to apply towards a discount for those renters who go through their source. Register Here
