A visiting to Orlando during the upcoming holidays could be one of the best vacations ever. For starters, the humid blistering heat of summer has cleared way for dry and cooler days. Walt Disney World. The magic of the holidays is an event at Disney. Every theme park, hotel, restaurant, pool and yes, even the kennel for your animals are decorated for this festive time of the year. Special park events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party take celebrating the holidays to an all new level. Nightly snow falls on Main Street all while wearing your Bermuda shorts. At Epcot, the Candle Light Processional is a must see. Every night between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve, a celebrity guest narrates the Christmas story and is joined by a choir of Disney Cast Members and local High School students. While at Disney Studios the Spectacle of Lights dazzles and amazes nightly. Millions lights are synchronized to music and perform nightly throughout the holiday season.
Universal Studios. Skip the cold and crowded New York streets for the back lot streets in Florida. Parts of the famous Macy’s Holiday Parade wind their way through Universal daily. Balloons seen in the retailer's famed Thanksgiving parade migrate south for December. These giant inflatables are seen live only in New York and Orlando. Plus don’t forget to meet the Grinch and see the Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular.
Other Theme parks such as Sea World and Legoland get into the holiday spirit as well. With special displays and shows for all to enjoy the Christmas season.
