However, the first step is to get to the consolidated rental car facility and this depends on which terminal you arrived. If you flew into Terminal 1 (or terminal A), you just grab your luggage and walk across the overhead bridge to get to the car rental facility. If you arrived in any other terminal, you will need to grab your luggage, head just outside the terminal and catch the consolidated rental car facility shuttle. The shuttle will drop you off at the rental car facility.
Next, depending on the car rental company in Ft. Lauderdale that you reserved your vehicle (or if you prefer to just walkup to the car rental counter - however, we suggest making an online car rental reservation ahead of time) you will have to go to the correct level of the facility.
